Winter Tracery
Walking through the park
On a cold, clear winter evening
The bare branches are etched
Black against the blue.

Snow falls from a leaden sky
This shot was actually taken in December, I am doing a little bit of catching up.
Snow flakes fall from a leaden sky
The dark grey clouds heavy with snow
The flakes fall in silent beauty
Drifting past the window.

Beautiful Skies from above
A recent flight to Dublin during stormy weather.
The clouds cleared as we passed through a cold front
resulting in these beautiful cloud formations
backlit by the setting sun.

A brief flash of Autumn
This beech tree in the local park has turned golden at last in this lingering autumn,
but the strong winds will soon have the branches bare.

Autumn Arrives
The autumn colours seem late this year in our local park
but last Saturday's sunshine seemed to bring them out.
This stately birch glowed yellow in the sunlight,
an ideal subject for the new warm tone James M lens.

Rainy Days and Mondays
A rainy Monday in Dublin.
All day the rain fell
And the waters rose
The rivers flooding out
To where sea and sky meet
And the cycle begins again.
