All the photographs in this blog have been captured using the standard camera on an iPhone4 and some of the various photography apps that are available. The small lens of the iPhone camera brings about a different perspective, an unusual viewpoint on the world.
The fact that this camera is so available and almost instant to use brings about a whole new world of photography on a whim, capturing an image just because you see something worth recording.
Some of the apps, especially the Hipstamatic, bring a randomness rawness to the photography, sometimes it works - sometimes it doesn't, but always the results can be interesting - a whole new learning curve.
The majority of images here are straight with no processing other than with software on the iPhone; a few have been adjusted using Photoshop software on the computer, generally a bit of sharpening and resizing to make them more suitable for print.
