Spanish Interlude

A recent few days in Andalucia, Spain produced these images.

Sherry Bodega, Sanlúcar de Barrameda, Andalucia
The hot sun beats down out of a clear sky
The white walls reflect both heat and light.
Hipstamatic, John S Lens, Ina's1969 Film

Gardens of the Palacio de Duques de Medina Sidonia, Sanlúcar de Barrameda.
A courtyard surrounded by white washed walls.
Herbs and flowers in abundance,
Shady and cool in spite of the burning sun.
Hipstamatic, John S lens, BlacKeys B+W Film

Gardens of the Palacio de Duques de Medina Sidonia, Sanlúcar de Barrameda.
Hibiscus are splashes of brightness against the cool greens.
Hipstamatic, John S Lens, Pistil Film

Silhouette,  Gardens of the Palacio de Duques de Medina Sidonia, Sanlúcar de Barrameda.
The palm tree reaches skyward, tall, echoing the church tower.
This Moorish image could be Spain, North Africa or California
all these places share a similarity of architecture.

The same silhouette photographed with a different combination.
Hipstamatic, Roboto Glitter lens, Ina's 1935 Film

An old colonial style house frontage, Sanlúcar de Barrameda.
Such beautiful surroundings, a shame this once stately home
has been allowed to decay.
